1、外研版中职国规英语教材基础模块第一册Unit 4 School Becomes Interesting 一、 单元整体解读及分析Unit 4 School Becomes Interesting单元内容 分 析本单元主题为中职学生的学习和生活。通过学习这部分内容,让学生熟识职业学校的校园生活,了解中职学校的特点,以激发他们对中职学校学习生活的兴趣。要求学生能听懂介绍日常学习和生活的用语,能用英语简单介绍自己的学校生活。学生情况分 析教学对象是10级园林专业1班的学生。该班共52人,学生普遍基础较差,听、说、读、写各方面的能力都比较弱,有少数同学甚至不能规范正确地写出26个英文字母,因此他们缺乏

2、自信心和学习兴趣,自主学习的能力差。课时划 分 第1课时:Warming up Listening and Speaking第2课时:Listening and Speaking第3课时:Reading and Writing第4课时:Grammar Language in Use Skill Practice第5课时:Around the World Oral Practice (introducing my school life)第6课时:Pronunciation Exercise My Progress Check Skill Practice 词汇检测题 说明:1. 考虑到List

3、ening and Speaking的对话内容比的对话简单,且复现了一个Key Sentence (We have skill-training classes in the afternoon.) 我将Listening and Speaking调整到第一课时,这样更能体现教学内容的层次性,而且所有的Key Sentences都置身在具体的语境中。2. Pronunciation Exercise调整到最后一节课,是想在学生学习音标/ I /和/ i: /的读音及读音规则后,自读一遍本单元的单词,挑出发音含有/ I / 和/ i: /的单词来,接着对学生进行词汇检测,这样教学环节的衔接比较自

4、然。3. P54 Skill Practice的内容与本单元的主题联系不大,删去。另外,For Better Performance是针对基础较好的学生而安排的,我们的学生基础较差,所以这部分内容删去。4. 因为学生练习册中P35,P36和P39的选词填空练习有许多重复之处,我将之整合成词汇检测题,便于检测学生的词汇运用情况。5. 我增加了Oral Practice (introducing my school life) 这项内容,是想强化学生的语言运用能力。二、分课时教学设计第1课时教学目标1. 让学生尽可能多地掌握一些与校园环境有关的词汇。2. 能听懂介绍日常学习和生活的用语,并能够进行

What training classes does your school have?(允许学生用汉语回答,老师讲英语)预测对话内容。学生读题后听录两遍,完成选择填空练习。学生朗读对话,试填所缺单词。听录音,修正所填答案。同桌之间分角色朗读对话。回答左边5的两个问题。设计这个任务是为了使全体学生在问题的指引下听懂材料、理解细节。学生带着问题“听”,心中就有了“听”的目标,就会降低“听”的难度,能使学生都体验到成功。在听录音之前要学生试着填写所缺单词,目的是想培养学生根据上下文猜测单

14、引导学生回忆本节课所学的知识,使学生对学过的知识有一个回放、梳理的过程,从而更好地达成本节课的教学目标。5模仿运用1. 让学生两人一组,谈论他们的校园生活。要求学生至少谈论三方面的内容,可以参照本节课所听的两则对话。2. 教师巡视指导有困难的学生。寻找搭档。共同确定要介绍哪几方面的内容。自由进行对话练习。试图体现让学生在“用中学,学为用”的教学理念。2布置课后作业1. 发给学生每人一张打印材料。材 料上包括知识回顾环节中所有词汇和重点句型,要求学生认真复习。2. 预习P49的单词和短语,注 意它们的读音和中文意思。复习和预习。让学生自主复习课堂所学知识,可以有效地巩固学习内容。教学反 思根据教

15、学实际的需要,灵活和有创造性地使用教材,对教材的内容、编排顺序和教学方法等方面进行适当的取舍或调整是调动学生学习积极性,提高教学效果的很重要的元素。Warming up&任务设计过于简单,学生不用听就能完成,这势必会影响学生听的积极性,因此我重新设计了贴近学生实际水平的活动任务,他们积极参与,取得了较好的效果。听说课的教学环节设计要体现从“听”到“说”的原则,教师要指导学生正确运用听力策略。比如:我在让学生听第一则对话时设计的任务就是为了使全体学生在问题的指引下听懂材料、理解细节。学生带着问题听,心中就有了听的目标,就会降低“听”的难度,能使各层次的学生都体验到成功,成就感会增强他们学习英语的

22、句子。 学生跟录音读一遍对话。两人一组朗读对话。让学生在听中读,通过跟读进一步理解对话,也可以训练学生的听力,让学生模仿标准英语的发音和语调。6理解对话1. 引导学生完成P49中的判断对错练习。2. 请学生个别回答下列问题: Is Lin Weis new school different from other high schools?
