6、of the invention,This section should present the substance or general idea of the claimed invention in summarized form. The summary may point out the advantages of the invention and how it solves previously existing problems, preferably those problems identified in the Background of the invention se
7、ction.,Detailed description of the invention,In this section, the invention must be explained along with the process of making and using the invention in full, clear, concise, and exact terms. It should be clear enough to enable another person to follow it and achieve the same results. Make referenc
8、e to the drawings when necessary to illustrate your explanation.,Claim/s,The claim or claims must particularly point out the subject matter which the inventor claims as the invention. Specifically, what part of your invention will be subject to patent protection.,Abstract,The purpose of the abstract
9、 is to enable the public to determine quickly the nature of your invention. It should be in narrative form and generally limited to a single paragraph.,Drawings,A patent application is required to contain drawings, if drawings are necessary to understand the subject matter to be patented. The drawin
10、gs must show every feature of the invention as specified in the claims.,Technical aspects of documenting a patent,Paper, Margins, and Ink Writing style,Paper, margins & ink,All papers must be typewritten. The text must be in permanent black ink on a single side of the paper; in portrait orientation;
11、 on white paper and without holes. All text matter should be in at least 12 point font and each letter must be clear and distinct in Times New Roman font type. The paper size must be either: 21.6 cm. by 27.9 cm. (8 by 11), or 21.0 cm. by 29.7 cm. (size A4). There must be a left margin of at least 2.
12、5 cm, and top, right, and bottom margins of at least 2.0 cm.,Writing style,Generally, we can say it is in essay form, including the relevant headings. Claim 1: using a gun that contains a holding piece for many nails enables the nail gun to work constantly, not requ
18、iring refill after every nail usedClaim 2 a nail gun that has no battery, but rather works on mechanical principles, saves the trouble of having to charge it before use. These claims will only be used by your invention and no other people can invent products which do these things in the same way.,FA
