1、 EIA STANDARD TP-16A Stripping Force Test (Solderless Wrapped Connectors) Test Procedure for Electrical Connectors EIA-364-16A (Revision of EIA-364-16) APRIL 2002 ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS, ASSEMBLIES see figure 1. 4 Test procedure 4.1 The test fork shall be moved parallel to the post axis, toward the f
2、ree end of the post at a rate of 25.4 millimeters to 50.8 millimeters (1 inch to 2 inches) per minute. 4.2 The force exerted on the wrapped connection by the test fork as it moves shall be measured. 4.3 The maximum force which is required to move the whole wrapped connection along the post a distanc
3、e equivalent to one wire diameter shall be measured as the stripping force. 5 Details to be specified The following details shall be specified in the referencing document: 5.1 Number of specimens to be tested 5.2 Selection method for specimens 5.3 Special conditions or requirements differing from th
4、ose above 6 Test documentation Documentation shall contain the details specified in clause 5, with any exceptions, and the following: 6.1 Title of test 6.2 Specimen description including wire size and number of wraps 6.3 Test equipment used, and date of last and next calibration 6.4 Test and procedu
