18、 ANSI NCITS.*-xxxx American National Standard for Information Technology AT Attachment with Packet Interface - 6 (ATA/ATAPI-6) Secretariat Information Technology Industry Council Approved mm dd yy American National Standards Institute, Inc. Abstract This standard specifies the AT Attachment Interfac

It provides a common attachment interface for systems manufacturers, system integrators, software suppliers, and suppliers of intelligent storage devices. It includes the Packet Command feature set implemented by devices commonly known as ATAPI devices. Th

20、is standard maintains a high degree of compatibility with the AT Attachment Interface with Packet Interface 5 (ATA/ATAPI-5), NCITS 340-2000, and while providing additional functions, is not intended to require changes to presently installed devices or existing software. 21、n National Standard Approval of an American National Standard requires verification by ANSI that the requirements for due process, consensus, and other criteria for approval have been met by the standards developer. Consensus is established when, in the judgment of the ANSI Board of Standards Review

Consensus requires that all views and objections be considered, and that effort be made towards their resolution. The u
