1、There be句型及其变型结构一、 The be 句型：_二、 There be句型的变型结构1. There与be中可插入：1)表时态的助动词或短语, 如there is(are,was,were) going to be ; there will(would) be、there havehas been.2）表推测的情态动词或短语, 如there may(might, must, cant, should, ought to, used to) be . 3) 一些不及物动词或短语, 如there seems/appears/happens to be例如：There must be a
2、 pen in the box. There happened to be some money in my pocket. There is going to be a meeting tonight.There has been a big tree on the top of the hill.There used to be a church across from the bank.There doesnt seem to be much hope.2. there be句型中的be可以换成: 1) 表示状态的不及物动词，如：live, stand, exist, remain. 2
3、)描写某事的发生或某人的到达的不及物动词，如：come, appear, enter, follow, occur等。 There lived a rich man. Then there came a knock at the door. There followed a terrible noise. Suddenly there entered a strange man. 三、 特殊的表达方式： There is no sense in doing sth. _ 2. There is no use /good doing _3. There is no need to do sth.
4、 _eg. There is no sense in making him angry. There is no use trying to explain it. There is no need to worry. 四、there to be 与there being1作主语时，一般用_；如： There being a shop here is a great advantage. 2作动词expect, mean, intend want, prefer等宾语时，一般用_。作介词宾语一般用_, 作介词for宾语一般用_如: We expect there to be no argument. People dont want there to be anther war. This depended on there being a sudden change. The teacher was waiting for there to be complete silence. 3 作状语 ：常用_。 There being no buses, we had to walk home.
