1、REXA XpacQUICK START GUIDEX2 DesignREXA Electraulic? ActuatorIMPORTANT READ THIS FIRSTThese are MINIMUM Setup Parameters for a Standard Actuator/Drive with a 4-20 mA Control Signal. For more detailed setup instructions, please refer to the Installation and Operation Manual, IOM.Once th e REXA Actuat

2、or/Drive is mounted, this guide can get you up and running quickly. Refer to Drawing D97904-D; it will provide information on:? Power Requirements Refer to Nameplate Rating on the Control Enclosure door.? Wiringo Control Signal Connectiono Actuator Feedback Connectiono Actuator Module Connection? Mi

3、nimum Setup ParametersGROUNDINGProtective Earth GroundA dedicated Protective Bonding Conductor (Protective Earth, PE) must be provided. The conductor must be connected to the terminal labeled PE at the Power Input Terminal. Conductor must be capable of safely carrying the maximum fault current that

4、may be imposed upon it. Protective bonding provides protection against electrical shock.A Protective Earth conductor should be provided at both Control Enclosure and Actuator.MAIN POWERThe Main Power requirements for the Control Enclosure/Actuator vary according to model. The Main Power requirements

5、 are given as part of the Nameplate Information in the lower right corner of the control enclosure. If no control enclosure is used, the nameplate will be attached to the backplane on which the Electronics is mounted.In general, the Main Power requirements are given in Table 1. Information provided

6、in Table 1 is for reference only. 7、with IEC 61010-1, Safety Requirements for Electrical Equipment for Measurement, Control and Laboratory Use,a Supply disconnect device with the proper ratingMUST be provided. The supply disconnecting device shall disconnect(isolate) the Control Enclosure/Actuator from the supply when required. The su

8、pply disconnecting deviceshall:a) Shall disconnect (isolate) the Control Enclosure/Actuator from the supply when required.b) Shall be included in the building installation.c) Shall be in close proximity and within easy reach of the Control Enclosure.d) Shall be marked as the disconnecting device for

9、 the equipment.Refer to the Nameplate Rating of the Control Enclosure sub-assembly for proper sizing of the required disconnect device.QSG-D Rev 12/06Page 1 of 3REXA XpacCalibrating the ActuatorRefer to Section 5.4, Rotary and Drive Spring Stops, and Section 5.5, Cylinder End Stops, of the Installat

10、ion and Operation Manual prior to calibrating rotary or drive units with spring or accumulator fail option.? Apply AC Power.Line 2 will display theCALIBRATEmenu header.? If not already inCALIBRATE, simultaneously pressAUTO/MANUALfor 5 seconds.? Scroll down toPosition Lowith thearrow.? Press the ENTE

11、R () key. = will begin to ?ash. Value will change to current actuatorposition.? Move the actuator with theorarrow to the Position that corresponds to 4.0 mA.? Press the ENTER () key to lock in that value.CAUTION!The end point should not be set against a mechanical stop without a spring coupling or d

12、amage will occur.Note: If the actuator is stroked beyond the factory set cylinder limit, the display will showCylEndwhile the down keyis held. If the enter key is pressed, the display will showTooLow. Position Lowill need to be calibrated higheruntil this warning goes away.? Scroll down toPosition H

13、iwith thearrow.? Press the ENTER () key. = will begin to ?ash. Value will change to current actuator position.? Move the actuator with theorarrow to the Position that corresponds to 20.0 mA.? Press the ENTER () key to lock in that value.CAUTION!The end point should not be set against a mechanical st

16、egin to ?ash.? Apply the actual 20.0 mA Control Signal from the DCS. The value may change, i.e. 19.9 mA.? Press the ENTER () key to lock in that value.THE ACTUATOR HAS NOW BEEN CALIBRATED.To enter the Auto mode:? Simultaneously pressAuto () and ENTER ()Line 1 of the display will change toAutofollowed by theCurrent Status.Line 2 will be blank.?
