15、ministrationCollege,ZhejiangUniversityofTechnology,HangZhou,Zhejiang310023)Abstract:Thechangesofthewholeindustrybymeaningsofaseriesofinputandoutputtargetswereanalyzedinthepaper.Fifteenindustrieswithhighagglomerationlevelwereselectedassubjectsofstudy.Accordingtotherelationshipbetweenprofitandscaleind
16、icesofinputproductionfactors,themainresultwasfoundthatsomemanufacturingindustries agglomerationbecamemuchmoreexcessiveinsoutheastbeaboardChina,thereweresurplusinputandoutputdeficitoncombinationoffactorsontheprogressofspatialagglomerationofmanufactur ingindustries.TheresultofDataEnvelopmentAnalysis(D
17、EA)onslackvariableshowedthatwhentherewasadecreaseininputfactororanadvanceincombinationoffactors,thecostofproductcouldbecutdownandtheefficiencycouldbeimprovedbyincreasingproductivityinordertoachievearationaldistribution.Asaresul,tthemanufacturingindustriescanbedividedintoexcessiveagglomerationindustry,appropriateagglomerationin dustryandpromisingagglomerationindustry.BymeansofDEA,theexcessiveagglomerationareaswerefundou.tTheresultoftheanalysisofslackvariablecandosomehelptomakepolicyoftablingtheagglomerationsuit ab
