It tells of a girl named Alice who falls down a rabbit hol
4、e into a fantasy world populated by peculiar, anthropomorphic creatures.,A brief introduction,1.Descriptive modification,First of all, a lot of descriptive modification have been included in the story, such as “a white rabbit with pink eyes”, “in a languid（倦怠的）, sleepy voice” and so on, which make t
5、he novel more concrete and visual.,2.Rhetorical devices,Personification: In this novel, a lot of peculiar, anthropomorphic（赋予人性的） creatures presented in the fantasy world, such as the talking rabbit, the smoking caterpillar（毛毛虫）, the dancing lobsters（龙虾） and the like. Undoubtedly, the use of personi
6、fication make all these animals create a world filled with curiousness and naivety（纯真）.,For example, in chapter 1, “Down the Rabbit-Hole”, in the midst of shrinking（收缩）, Alice worries about what final size she will end up as, perhaps “going out altogether, like a candle”; this pondering reflects the
