30、计软件,而MasterCAM是流行的数控加工软件。充分结合两者一优点对模具进行设计和制造。通过手机盖模具设计和加工实例,阐述了使用这两种软件进行模具设计与加工的方法和流程。关键词: SolidWorks,MasterCAM,CAD/CAM数控加工1 SolidWorks和MasterCAM简介SolidWorks软件属于中端三维CAD软件,是Dassault System公司旗下SolidWorks子公司的产品,软件最大的特点是易学易用,容易掌握,对硬件的要求较低。另外,在世界范围内有数百家公司基于SolidWork*开发了专业的工程应用系统作为插件集成到SolidWorks的软件界面中,其中

31、包括模具设计、制造、分析、产品演示、数据转换等等,使它成为具有实际应用解决方案的软件系统,但在工程中要实现应用需要其它模块的支持。MasterCAM美国NC Software公司所开发研制的CAD/CAM系统软件,由于卓越的加工功能,在世界上拥有众多的忠实用户,被泛应用于机械、航空、造船、模具等领域。然而MasterCAM的设计(CAD)功能相对薄弱,在进行复杂曲面造型时一比较困难,而这正是SolidWorks的优势所在。本文为MasterCAM软件提供了DXF , I(ES , CADL , VDA , STL, PA-RASLD , DWG等标准图形转换接口,可以把其他CAD软件生成的图形

32、转变成本系统的图形文件,实现图形文件共享。建立完模型后选择合理的加工方式,利用MasterCAM的车削、铣削和线切割模块能高效地编制各种数控加工程序,方便快捷地实现图形的雕刻功能。因此利用SolidWorks进行CAD设计,结合MasterCAM进行数控加工,就成为当前模具企业优先选择的CAD/CAM方式,下面以手机盖模具为例,介绍SolidWorks结合MasterCAM9. 0在模具设计和加工方面的应用。2基于SolidWorks的手机盖模具设计SolidWorks软件具有很强的建模功能,利用其拉伸、切除、钻孔、倒角、抽壳、曲线曲面等命令可以完成各种类型的零件设计。2. 1原始设计模型以手

33、机盖例,利用SolidWorks软件选择零件,先选择草图并绘制草图,进行尺寸约束和几何关系约束,然后进行拉伸、切除、钻孔、倒角等生成三维立体图。2. 2手机外壳制作加工(1) SolidWorks手机外壳制作如上面打开零件绘图框,选择“前视”,插入“基准面1,在“等距距离”框中输入“10,建立基准面1,如图1图1基准面建立在“前视面”上绘制椭圆图形,选择“工具/草图” 绘制“工具/裁剪”直线对椭圆进行裁剪、尺寸设置,如图2。在“基准面 1”上绘制同样图形,选择“插入/凸台基体/放样”,弹出放样对话框,在“轮廓”框中分别选择“草图1”和“草图2,选取图形上表面的边线对其倒圆角,半径为10 mm,

34、如图3选择“工具/草图绘制实体/文字”在图形上表面绘制文字,然后点击“拉伸凸台/基体”按钮,深度1mm,效果如图4( 2 ) Mastercam手机外壳模拟加工打开Mastercam操作界面,点击File/Converters/IGES/Read file,找到所存文件并打开,即可完成Solidworks与Mastercam图形文件的转换,如图5所示。 然后经过不同步骤的加工部位选取、刀具选择、刀具参数设置(图6) ,加工路径设置、粗加工参数设置、精加工参数设置等设置,最终完成手机壳的数控自动编程)选取图不边线并按图进行设置。完成上述各种工艺参数设置,经过下述加工步骤仿真(图7最终成型如图8

PST文件则MasterCAM9. 0将生成适合该机床运行的数控程序。MasterCAM软件系统针对许多数控系统开发了与之匹配的后处理文件(如FANUC , SIEMENS ,MITSUBISHI等),选取相应后处理文件,即可直接生成特定数控系统所需的数控加工程序。由于此系统是国产的南京华兴21M数控系统,MasterCAM软件系统中没有与之相匹配的后处理文件,自动生成的NC程序不能直接传送给数控机床进行加

36、工,需要进行简单的修改。修改完毕即可将文件传输给数控机床,完成工件的加工。对自动生成的数控程序主要进行了以下三方面的修改。删去程序开头、段尾一些对于系统没必要的说明解释性的程序代码,在程序中间换用刀具的说明也应删除。 例如: % 00000 (PROGRAM NAME一BB1) (DATE=DD一MM一YY一06一05 TIME=HH:MM一10;45) N0 G21 N2 GO G17 G40 G49 G80 G90 (16.
