No stress, weve got the tips to help.,Start with a summary Grab the recruiters attention with a short summary that highlights your best skills and achiev

If the recruiter likes what they read in the first few sentences theyll want to read on.,Show off your skills You need to show how your education and previous experience has given you the skills to fulfil the role requirements. Include any additional training youve done and list in reverse c
3、hronological order your employment history using start and end dates.,Address the key selection criteria Just like you tailor your cover letter for a specific job, you need to tailor your resume. Use the key selection criteria listed in the job advert and link the duties and responsibilities of your
4、 past experience to it.,Leave the personal stuff out While your hobbies and interests show youre a well-rounded person, they take up valuable resume space and dont prove your ability to do the job. You can also leave off details like your date of birth, gender, relationship status none of these affe

Think of your cover letter as our elevator pitch you havent got long
9、so get to the point and address the selection criteria using the key words from the job advert as possible.,Be contactable So youve impressed the recruiter with your cover letter and resume, now they want to call you so make sure its easy for them to do so. List your contact details clearly; phone number and email address. Now is also the time to get a new email address if your current one is the same one youve had since school. Get a professional email address that uses your name.,
