2、称代词形成的主语 ( we , you , they ) 或复数名词主语一起使用。在形成疑问句时要将 be 动词放置在该句的主语之前，,如：Is this your pen? Are you Mary? 在构造特殊疑问句时，将“be”置于特殊疑问词之后、主语之前，如：Whats ( What is ) his telephone number ? 他的电话号码是多少？be 以 is 的形式出现, 是因为句中的主语“ his telephone number ”,是一个单数名词短语，“is”被置于特殊疑问词 “what” 之后，主语 “his telephone number” 之前。 再如：I
3、m Gina. 我是 Gina。 be 以 am 的形式出现，是因为 be 是配合主语 “I” 来表示判断说明能力的。 Im 是 I am 的缩写形式。,疑问代词“what” 它的意思是“什么”，既可以用来提问“物品、东西”等，也可以用来询问“行为、动作”，还可以询问“人们的职业”，另外它还可以在将来学习中遇到的名词性从句中充当连接词，作用是非常多的。本单元要求掌握对“姓名、电话号码”的提问中使用特殊疑问词“what”。,例如： Whats your name? My name is Tony. 你叫什么? 我的名字叫 托尼 。 Whats his telephone number? His

Its a pen.,寒暄语 在英语国家中，人们比较注重见面时的寒暄和打招呼，与我们的习惯非常接近。人们在初次见面时常用的问候语有： How do you do ?,有时在引见之后为了显得比较亲切自然, 也可以说：How are you?/ How are you doing?/ How are you getting along? 等。它们的答语要认真地区分开。A: How do you do?
