It means that improving access to existing medicines could save ten million lives each year at least.Providing some of the poorest can in africa essentit
3、al medicines hasbecome one important duty to Saudi Arabia since the first time WHO callon all the developed country to notice the peoples living in Sub-Saharaafrica.And the government of Saudi Arabiais now facing a greatchallenge,somepharmaceuticalcompanies holdthe patentrightand the price ofsomemed
4、icines becomes unaffordable and it has become the main limit of themedicines providing. Some countries also hold their position to protecttheir medical industry and make the price become even higher.Meanwhile Saudi Arabia itselfalsofacesa serioussituation,almost80%ofmedicinesdepend on import.The gov
5、ernment spend more thanone billiondollarin importingmedicinesand it also putour government under greatpressure. And we are looking forward to find some means to let the priceof someessentialbut expensivemedicinesdownunder the acceptable areas.To improve people s living all around the world we have t
6、o balance twointerest. On one hand we improve our pharmaceutical research standard,on the other hand we have to make sure that all medicines and result wecame out really change peoples living situation. We have to protectpeople s health first and then the pharmaceutical companiesinterest.Intheotherw
7、ord,we cansacrificesome profitofpharmaceuticalcompanies atthe promiseof continualdevelopment of thesecompanies. Andinorder to makeitwork,we suggestthe councilto come outsome effectiveand strong resolution.As to the serious situation, we have following solutions：Reform the list of essential medicines
8、 and the rank of each kind of medicines depend on the necessity and the cost.
