1、Good afternoon, everyone. I m Zhou Yan. I m an English teacher from Experimental School ofSuqian. Now I ll say Sample A of Lesson Six in Book One. Ill prepare to say the lesson from fourparts.Part One Analysis of the Teaching Material(一) STATUS AND FUNCTION1. This is an important lesson in Book One.

2、 From this lesson, it starts asking t he Ss to grasp contents of each Sample. To attain “ fourskills r”equest of liste ning, speaking, reading and writing. To start listing “ WordBank”and tell the Ss to remember the new words. To start asking the Ss to write the English se ntences well. Therefore th

3、is lesson is in the important position of the teaching material.2. This lesson is the first one of Unit 2.So if the Ss can learn it well, it will be helpful to make the Ss learn the rest of this unit.3.Such a topic is related to daily life, so it is helpful to raise learning interest s of students a

4、nd it will be also helpful to improve their spoken English.(二) ANALYSIS OF THE STUDENTSThe Ss has learned English for about one month so far. They can understand some words and some simple sentences. The Ss have taken a great interest in English now.(三) TEACHING AIMS AND DEMANDSThe teaching aims bas

5、is is established according to Junior School English syll abus provision.1. 10、in instructional aims of learning English in the Middle School is to cultivate students abilities of listening, speaking, reading, writing and their good sense of the English language. So in this lesson I lml ainly us e “ Communicative t”eaching method, “ Audio-visual ”teaching method and “Tas k-bas

11、ed”teaching method. That is to say, I llet the Ss to get a better underst anding of the key structure of the dialogue. Ilgl ive the Ss some tasks and ar range five kinds of activities: talking, guessing games, watching CAI, acting ou t Sample A and having a competition.Teaching special featuresTo us

First I ldl ivide the Ss into four groups an d bring a competition into the class. At last let ssee which group is the winn e

14、r.Step1 Warm-up1. Free talk between T and Ss .Such as: Hi, I m. . . . What syour name?This is .How do you do?Who is he/she? How are you?Who can count from 1to 5?Whatsthis in English? etc.2.A game: Ask the Ss to give T some school things. For example:T: Give me your book.(ruler, box, pen, table, knif

15、e, etc.)T: This is your book. This is not my book. It ysour book. etc.In this course I lal sk them to make a dialogue group by group without repetit ion. Find out which group will make the most dialogues.Purpose of my designing: I think it is important to form a better English learn ing surrounding

16、for the Ss by imitating and at the same time it is necessary t o provide situations to review learned knowledge.Step2. PresentationThis course is very important. I lml ainly talk about this step.I lul se CAI to present the whole dialogue. Arrange some situations to help Ss understand Sample A.First

17、scene: There is a bag on the floor. B is picking it up and get ready to l eave. Now A is talking with B.A: Hi, B. How are you today?B: I mfine, thank you. And you?A: I mfine, too. Oh, this is my bag.B: No, this is not your bag. It msy bag.A: (Look closely) Oh, I msorry.B: That asll right.(At the sam

18、e time, C is running up and hitting A.)C: Oh, I msorry.A: That Os K.I lwl rite the key points on the Bb while they are watching. After watching, I ll teach them to read the words and sentenceson the Bb. Make sure they can read them well.Purpose of my designing: To present Sample A by CAI is much eas

19、ier for the Ss to learn and grasp the meanings. CAI can provide a real situation with its sound and picture and it makes the relationships between the Ss better.Step3.PracticeFirst play the tape recorder. Let the Ss listen and imitate the dialogue. Pay att ention to their pronunciation and intonatio

20、n. In this step the Ss are required to practise the Sample in pairs by reading the dialogue aloud. This step is empl oyed to make the Ss grasp the Sample .At last I lal sk the Ss to think hard a nd act it out with a partner according to Sample A. Then find out which grou p will act it out well. I ll

21、give them red stars.Purpose of my designing: This step is employed to make the Ss get the gener al idea of the dialogue as a whole one. At the same time let the Ss have a c hance to practise their listening and spoken ability.Step4.ProductionIn this step I llgive the Ss a free space to show their ab

22、ilities.Second scene: The Ss are having a picnic. It hsot and they take off their coa ts and put them together. They are singing and dancing, laughing and chatting.After the picnic, they begin to look for their coats. D and E are talking. F a nd G are talking. etc.After watching, Ilgl ive the Ss som

23、e tasks to make similar dialogues without repetition and find out which group will make more dialogues.Purpose of my designing: “ Tsak-based”teaching method is used here to develo p the Ssability of communication and also their ability of co-operation will b e well trained. Tell the Ss we should be

24、polite and take good care of our thin gs. We should love our life. I think proper competition can arouse the Ssinte rest in English learning. If the Ss can finish this task well, they will benefit a lot in their spoken English.2.Skill 1 Model 1.I lal sk four Ss of the groups to write these sentences

25、 on the Bb in the four l ines.Then check their handwriting, correct their mistakes. Find out who will write well and whose handing is the best.3. Finish the Ssworkbook.Purpose of my designing: To check the knowledge Ss have learned in this less on.Step5.Homework:(1) Recite the words as many as possi

26、ble after class.(2) Make a dialogue according to Sample A and write it in the exercise book.Purpose of my designing: I think homework is so important that the Ss should speak English as much as they can in class or after class. 30、ding to the problem of Chinese s tudents learning English , the book design a lot of material to improve the stu dents ability of listening speaking, reading, and writing. So I think the book i s very good.Then I ltlalk about next part analysis of the students. It is known to us that t he kids are v

They will also be interested in the class.Next I ltlalk about teaching methods. My teaching methods are task-based app roach and situational approac

38、ent syllabus, one of the main aims of English teaching in junior middle school is to improve s tudents communicating ability in English. Then how can we develop students communicating ability? As teachers, we should carry out the spirit of the syll abus in handling the teaching materials. And one mo

39、re thing is that in SectionA, there is only one sentence pattern: how much It is very hard to carry o ut the real shopping activity. Whatsmore, most students have learned Englishin primary schools. We should prepare something for these students. Therefore, I include other sentences like: here is the

40、 money, we spent we get These are the teaching materials in this class, and above is why I add more s entence patterns to this class.Because of the characteristics of the teaching materials and current level of Ju nior One students, I focus on these teaching aims.(1) Learn and grasp the vocabulary a

I use the clue because of the fol

45、lowing reasons:a. The students are very interested in the TV show “ Supergirl ”.b. The courage of super girls is worth owning.c. It as contest. So it can train the students competitive spirit also team sp irit.d. I want them to know if they work hard step by step, they are sure to ge t something.The

46、y have many passes to go. If they do well in one pass, they can get an a pple.The aims can be achieved only by carrying out the carefully designed teaching procedures. So the teaching procedure is arranged in the following way.Task1: Warming upThe first step is to use a song to warm up. A good prese

47、ntation plays an imp ortant part in accomplishing the teaching aims of a class. It can warm up the class atmosphere and make it lively. It can activate the students.
