It aims at helping students have an imaginative discussion ofgreat women and their impo

The teacher should let studentsdiscuss the questions and predict what kind of information will be introduced in theReading.The reading passage titled A Student of African Wildlife briefly describesa day ofJane Goodall and her colleagues in the forests, observing the chimps. 9、couragestudents to look at the pictures and the heading of each section to guess what the textmight be about. Then let them skim for the general idea for each section, and scan fcrfurther understanding. Because this passage introduces a lot of useful new words anexpressions, the teacher should deal

10、with any language problems while they arereading. After reading the passage the students can know about Jane Goodall working methods, her great achievements and her attitude towards wild animals.Reading the passage,the students can also learn some reading strategies such aspredicting, skimming and d
