10、ze. During periods of growth , companies tend to add personnel and equipment that serves immediate business purposes. It is natural that a company's business model or customer base shift during the organization's evolution. Downsizing is your chance to bring your company size down to somethi

11、ng that can more efficiently serve your customers and remain profitable.b) Financial SavingsThe greatest benefit to downsizing is the financial benefit. Money is saved when there are less people to pay, less resources costing the company money and just less of everything overall. The more you can re

12、duce costs , the more you can steer them into areas of the company that need the cash infusion to stabilize. This may allow you to then increase resources and/or staff once the company is doing wellfinancially.c) Less RepetitionAll companies have some level of repetition , be it among different depa

However , when a company has to downsize, repetition becomes less of an issue, as there are fewer people to do the jobs they have, much less the exact task list of another person's position. When company get involved in the downsizing process , managers need to make business decisions that are best for company and try to leave out the personal feelings that can come with letting employees go.
