Is he tall or short ?2、能力目标 : 1学完本课,学会描述人物外貌。2能积极思维,运用所学单词,短语及句型,结合实际生活进行灵活运用。3、情感目标 :让学生学会友好、客观地描述人的形象。二 、教学重、难点:教学重点 :掌握本课新单词、句型和怎样描述一个人的外貌。 你以什么方式激发学教学难点: 掌握正确运用 have 动词和 be 动词的描述人物外貌的方法。生的学习兴趣学法三、教学方法: “五步、双重教学法”四、教具准备 :课文录音 多媒体使用:无五、教学过程 :(一)复习旧知Step I. Warming-up:Play a

3、 game “ Polly says ” .Tell the Ss :theIf rPuloellsy says touchyour eyes/ears/ nose/mouth/shoulder/legs/arms. You should do it. If itdoesn t say th,at you can t do it. If you are wron,g you have to sit down.The person who does it correctly is the winner.(二)新课导学找出三名外貌差异较大的学生来做比较,一个胖而高大的男生( afat and ta

4、ll boy ),一个瘦而较矮的男生( a thin and short boy ),一个中等身材 (of medium height )。然后用这三名学生为例教 heavy, tall,thin , short 引出句型:1. What do you look like? He s really tall. He has short straight hair.2.
