Systematic studies on physical and chemical characteristics, combustion and gasification performances of low rank coal before and after upgrading has been conducted. In our research, lignite was upg
3、raded through two different methods, hydrothermal treatment and microwave treatment, respectively. The difference of physical and chemical properties, kinetic parameters of pyrolysis, gasification and combustion process of a typical lignite before and after upgrading was obtained by tests of coal characteristics, pore structure and pyrolysis, gasification and combustion behaviors.
