Then give directions.二、教学目标1. 大多数学生能够听、说、读、写单词和短语:cross, go straight on, turn right, turn left, excuse me, be quiet.2. 大多数学生能够听懂并用句型:Go straight on. Turn left/ right Stop! Dont

2、 go!3. 能够运用所学的语言知识与同伴进行交流。三、重点难点(一)重点:1. 听、说、读、写单词和短语: cross, go straight on, turn right, turn left, excuse me, be quiet.2. 学习句型:Go straight on. Turn left/right. Stop! Dont go!(二)难点1. 用句型“Go straight on. Turn left/right. Stop! Dont go! 指示方向和路线及表达交通规则。2. 祈使句的用法。3. 如何在现实中运用所学的句型。四、教学准备1. 单词卡片(可从优教平台下载

3、“Module10 Unit2单词卡片集”直接使用)。2. 音频(可从优教平台下载使用)。3. PPT课件。五、教学设计Step 1 Warm-up1. Have a dictation of the new words of Module 10 Unit 12. Let s sing. (Use PPT to show the song of Page 60 to the class.)【设计思路】通过听写复习了前面所学到的知识,通过歌曲让学生快速地进入学习状态。Step 2 Preview老师提出以下问题,让学生思考:1. What should we do in the library?

4、2. What should we not do in the library?3. When the traffic light is red, what should you do?4. When the traffic light is green, what should you do?【设计思路】这四个问题的设置,可以起到承上启下的作用。让第一环节自然过渡到第二个环节,第二环节又自然过渡到本节课的重点部分,即下面的新授环节。Step 3 Presentation1. 新课导入。After singing the song, the teacher has a free talk wi

5、th the class, like the following: T: Wonderful! You sang very well. Now answer the questions: What should we do in the library?S1: Stand in line.S2: Be quiet.What should we not do in the library?Ss: Dont talk in the library.T: Yes, you are right. We must obey the rules in the library. We must obey t

6、he traffic rules, too. Do you know the traffic rules? Can you tell me some traffic rules?Let the students talk about the traffic rules they know in the class, if they cant say them in English, they can say them in Chinese.2. Unit 2 Activity 1 Look, listen and say.Use PPT to show the traffic lights o

7、n the screen. And teach this part, eg:The light is red. Please dont cross.Now its green. You can cross.Use the traffic signs to play a game: say and do. eg:Let some students stand up. The teacher shows the green light and says “Go at the green light. “Then the students should walk. The teacher shows

8、 the red light and says “Stop at the red light.” Then the students should stop.At last let the class look at Unit 2 Activity l on Page 59. Listen to the tape and follow the tape. Then read the sentences together, recite them and act out.3. 课文教学: Unit 2 Activity 2 Listen and read.T: Now we know the t

Do you know any other traffic signs?Use PPT to show the traffic signs of Page 59 on the screen, talk about them one by one.Teach the phrases: go straight on, turn right, turn left, be quiet and so on. Use PPT to show a map to the class, write the key sentences on the PPT. Give the class several minutes to make dialogues t
