6、, but I may also go to lectures on history. To me, if college education in the past emphasized specialization, now, it emphasizes free and well-rounded development of each individual. When I showed the card to my mother, she was very excited to see the one good grade. She gave me a hug and a kiss and, most important of all, a bigger al

10、lowance. Everyone was happy in my house until two nights later when the phone rang.,My mother answered it, listened, and then looked at me with blood in her eyes. She told me that there were some things much worse than failing, and that cheating was one of them. I tried to argue. I said she was the

11、one who had told me to change my grades. That made her really angry, and she said that I knew thats not what she had meant. Then she gave me a whipping and took away my allowance for a month. 15、xcitement. Spacious as it is, the campus was crowded with freshmen like me, their busy parents, teachers and students who were helping with our registration. Suddenly I felt that I was no longer my moms baby; I was an adult! I was overwhelmed with pride and excitement.,Do you remember your first cam
