5、Party. The Labour Party represents the interests of the middle and lower-middle classes while the Conservative Party represents for the smaller gentry and tradesmen. If a major party wins enough seats in the Parliament, it gets the power to form the government and the party becomes known as the Gove
6、rnment, leaving the other party to be called the Opposition.,Local Government,The government is a three-tiered government: central government, country government and district government. All the countries in England have a similar two-tiered system in which each country is subdivided into a number of districts. Local government get their power from the Parliament. They enforce the laws of the nation. But they can also pass local laws known as bylaws.,
