Namba Parks is directly linked to the Namba Train Station which is the first stop from Kansai Airport and therefore thousands of travelers pass through this station in order to make other train and metro connections after leaving the airport. The Namba Parks Project is also adjacent

11、to the development of Namba City. Project Attributes & Elements of Success The park slopes down to the street which draws people up from street level into the project. The park features trees, ponds, shrubbery and planting beds which are available to the public for rent. The park is irrigated using

12、recycled water from the grey water of restaurants in the complex. There is an amphitheatre component on the roof garden as well as a laser show which can be programmed for various night time events. Implications for BCC Project People are drawn into Namba Parks because of its architectural features

13、and landscaping. The project is part of a revitalization scheme to bring life back to central Warsaw. Project Attributes & Elements of Success Projec

21、here has been 100% occupancy rate The purpose of the project was to revitalize the former station in central Madrid to create a transit node with entertainment and destination retail functions. Potsdamer Platz is Berlins most successful recent development, attracting over 70,000 visitors per day. Potsdamer Platz emerged from the collapse of the Berlin Wall in 1989, which prov

26、ided it with a vast open area close to the citys eastern centre. Hyatt, Marriott and Ritz Carlton all have a hotel presence on site. Europes largest construction site while under construction. Implications for BCC Project Creating an entertainment complex at a transit node is an efficient use of urban space and can create a real draw for patrons as it is easy to visit the project via bus/train.
