27、 of the approved BioAPI Part 1, with the approved BioAPI Part 1 Amd. 1 applied, in order to provide a specification of Framework Free BioAPI. This amendment adds support for Biometric Systems that use the BioAPI interface to BSPs without requiring the presence of a BioAPI Framework. Conformance is s

28、pecified only for a BSP module. Applications access a conforming BSP module using system integration facilities provided by the operating system platform. 33、 2008 All rights reserved Foreword The first edition of this part of ISO/IEC 19784 was the first ISO/IEC standard on BioAPI. Previous versions of the specification were published by ANSI and the BioAPI Consortium. As the last official non-ISO specification was designated BioAPI 1.1, the versions spe

34、cified in this part of ISO/IEC 19784 are designated BioAPI 2.0 and BioAPI 2.1. Amendment 1 provided for and enhanced Graphical User interface. Amendment 2 provided for framework-free operation. ISO (the International Organization for Standardization) is a worldwide federation of national standards b

35、odies (ISO member bodies). The work of preparing International Standards is normally carried out through ISO technical committees. Each member body interested in a subject for which a technical committee has been established has the right to be represented on that committee. International organizati

36、ons, governmental and non-governmental, in liaison with ISO, also take part in the work. ISO collaborates closely with the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) on all matters of electrotechnical standardization. International Standards are drafted in accordance with the rules given in the
