2、ication sheet, for all federal agencies. The complete requirements for procuring couplings described herein shall consist of this document and the latest issue in effect of A-A-59326A. 1. SCOPE. This specification covers Female Thread Swivel Collar By Male Tank Car Adapter. 2. CLASSIFICATION. The si
3、ze of the coupling half is designated in table 1. 3. SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS. The following characteristics differ from those listed in A-A-59326A. 3.1 Accessories. The coupling shall be supplied with gasket indicated. 3.1.1 Gasket. The gasket shall conform to A-A-59326A except that the dimensions s
4、hall be as specified in figure 1. 3.2 Threads. The coupling threads shall conform to Unified Inch Screw Threads in accordance with ANSI/ASME B1.1. 3.3 Hydrostatic pressure. The adapter shall withstand a hydrostatic test pressure of 150 pounds per square inch gage. 3.4 Working pressure. The adapter s
5、hall be rated for 100 pounds per square inch.
