Common Name: metoiachlor 1.1 The word “metolachior” (pronounced ,me-tal-a- Hr) has been accepted as the American National Stan- dard Common Name for the chemical 2-chloro-N-(2- ethyl-6-methylphenylN-(2-methoxy- 1 -methyl- ethy1)acet
3、amide.l 1.2 Acceptance signifies compliance with American National Standard Procedure for the Acceptance of an American National Standard Common Name for a Pest Control Chemical, K62.1-1974. 2. Use of Common Name 2.1 The common name applies to the 100% pure chemical. 2.2 Technical grades and formula
4、tions shall indicate the percentage of metolachlor present; for example, metolachlor - 94%. 2 . 3 The Sponsor2 of the common name “metolachlor” has agreed to release and permit the use of the name Also known as 2-chloro-6-ethyhV-(2-methoxy- 1-meth ylethyl) o-acetotoluidide.
