Common Name: uniconazole 1.1 The word “uniconazole” (pronounced yii 4ni-Ikn - a-,zl) has been accepted as the American National Standard Common Name for the chemical (E)-(+)+- (4-hlorophenyl)methylene -a-(l,l -dimethylethyl)- lH-1,2,4-triazole-l-ethanol. 1.2 Acceptance signifies c
3、ompliance with American National Standard Common Name for a Pest Control Chemical -Procedure for Acceptance, ANSI K62.1- 1985. O i w 2. Use of Common Name 2.1 The common name applies to the 100% pure chemical, 2.2 Technical grades and formulations shall indicate the percentage of uniconazole present
4、, 2.3 The sponsor of the common name “uniconazole” has agreed to release and permit the use of the name Name furnished upon request. Limitations Neither the American National Standards Institute nor the Accredited Standards Committee for Common Names for Pest Control Chemicals, K62, guarantees or assumes any responsibility that use of this name in con- nection with
6、this or any other chemical or product wiU not infringe on or conflict with any existing propri- etary name, trademark, or trade name. Approval as an American National Standard Common Name consti- tutes recognition by the Institute that a consensus ex- ists within Accredited Standards Committee K62,
7、oper- ating under Institute procedures and basing its recom- mendation on data submitted by a sponsor, favoring consideration of the use of the name to designate the pest control chemical described herein by all interested persons. The information concerning the chemical and physical properties of t
8、he chemical is not part of the standard but is provided solely as an aid to identifica- tion, and its accuracy is not guaranteed. An American National Standard implies a consensus of those substantially concerned with its scope and provisions, An American National Standard is intended as a guide to
