Department of Agriculture - 7 1 Common name: azimsulfuron 1.1 The word “azimsulfuron” (pronounced -zim-s al-f(y)a-ran) has been accepted as the American National Standard Common Name for the chemical N-(4,6-dimethoxy-2-pyrimidinyl)= aminocarbonyl-1 -methyl-4-(2-methyl-2H-tetra=
3、 zol-5-yl)-l H-pyrazole-5-sulfonamide. 1.2 Acceptance signifies compliance with American National Standard common name for a pest control chemical - Procedure for acceptance, ANSI K62.1-1985. t 2 Use of common name 2.1 The common name applies to the 100% pure chemical. 2.2 Technical grades and formu
4、lations shall indicate the percentage of azimsulfuron pre- sent; for example, azimsulfuron 99%. i) Name furnished upon request.
