7、Standards Review, substantial agreement has been reached by directly and materially affected interests. Substantial agreement means much more than a simple majority, but not necessarily unanimity. Consensus requires that all views and objections be considered, and that a concerted effort be made tow

13、scope 1.1 The purpose of this Standard is to establish common mounting and clearance dimensions for hydraulic remote control cylinders and trailing- type agricultural implements with such other specifi cations as are necessary to accomplish the following objectives: 1.1.1 To permit use of any make o

14、r model of trailing-type agricultural implement adapted for control by a hydraulic remote cylinder with any remote cylinder furnished as part of any make or model of agricultural tractor in a drawbar horsepower size suitable for operating that implement. 1.1.2 To facilitate changing the hydraulic cy

15、linder from one implement to another and decrease the possibility of introducing dirt or other foreign material into the hydraulic system by reducing the necessity for supplemental hose lengths or piping with certain types of implements. 2 Defi nitions 2.1 Anchor end: The closed end of the cylinder.

16、 2.2 Attaching pins: Removable pins provided in the yokes for attaching the cylinder to the implement. 2.3 Bottom of cylinder: The side of the cylinder opposite that to which the oil lines are attached. 3 Classifi cation and rating 3.1 For the purpose of application of remote hydraulic cylinders, tr

17、actors are divided into categories as shown in Table 1. 3.2 A hydraulic cylinder with minimum extending stroke thrust capacity as shown in Table 1 will be considered as part of the tractor remote control hydraulic system. 3.3 Length of cylinder stroke and attaching pin size will be as shown in Table

18、 1. 3.4 Minimum thrust capacity will be based on the calculated area of the cylinder and 80 percent of the minimum relief valving setting. 3.5 Implements requiring cylinder thrust over 18,000 lb (8165 kg) should provide for use of 16-in. (406-mm) stroke cylinders. 4 Clearance dimensions 4.1 Implemen

19、ts will provide clearance for the maximum cylinder size as shown in Fig. 1. 4.2 Hydraulic remote cylinder with hose is considered part of the tractor. The cylinder falls within the clearance dimensions given in Fig. 1 and provides anchor and rod yoke clearances as shown in Figs. 2 and 3. 5 Standard

20、hose lengths for remote cylinders 5.1 The standard hose length shall be suffi cient so the remote cylinder is operable when the front attaching pin is located in accordance with dimensions in Table 1. 5.1.1 On tractors for which the ASAE-SAE standard power take-off shaft is available, the ASAE-SAE a

21、gricultural tractor drawbar hitch point shall be used, shown in Fig. 4. 5.1.2 On all other track-type tractors without ASAE-SAE standard power take-off shaft, the SAE standard track-type drawbar hitch point, per Society of Automotive Engineers SAE J749, DrawbarsCrawler Tractors, shall apply, shown i

26、ee-point hitch quick-attaching coupler (ASAE Standard S278, Attachment of Implements to Agricultural Wheel Tractors Equipped with Quick-Attaching Coupler for Three-Point Free-Link Hitch) is made available by the tractor manufacturer, remote hydraulic cylinder hose length must provide for moving the

34、IASAE S201.4 FEB0372ASABE STANDARDS 2006 -,-,- 6 Other specifi cations 6.1 Both single- and double-acting cylinders will operate to raise the implement (or deangle disk harrows) on their extending strokes. 6.2 Variable stroke control necessary in the application of hydraulic control to some implemen

35、ts will be incorporated in the cylinder or hydraulic system and applied to the retracting stroke. Provisions will be made on the implement to accommodate the fully extended cylinder. 6.3 Operating time at maximum full load engine speed (ASAE Standard S209, Agricultural Tractor Test Code, paragraph 2

36、.2), cylinders extending, will be 1.5 to 2.0 seconds for 8-in. (203 mm), stroke cylinders, and 3 to 4 seconds for 16-in (406 mm) stroke cylinders. 6.4 Hose support as required for remote cylinder hose, will be considered a part of the implement. 6.5 Hose connections to cylinders will be such that th

37、e hose will not interfere with bars extending through the yoke on either end of the cylinder. 6.6 Attaching pins will be considered a part of the cylinder. They will be easily removed and attached.
