Common Name: tralomethrin 1.1 The word “tralomethrin” (pronounced tral-a I me-thrin) has been accepted as the American Na- tional Standard Common Name for the chemical cyano(3-phenoxyphenyl)methy12,2-dimethyl-3- (1,2,2,2-tetrabromoethyl)cyclopropanecar
3、boxylate. 1.2 Acceptance signifies compliance with American National Standard Common Name for a Pest Control Chemical - Procedure for Acceptance, ANSI K62.1- 1985. 2. U s e of Common Name 2.1 The common name applies to the 100% pure chemical. 2.2 Technical grades and formulations shall indicate the
4、percentage of tralomethrin present; for example, tralomethrin-99%. 2.3 The sponsor of the common name “tralometh- rin” has agreed to release and permit the use of the name “tralomethrin” with respect to any product, Name fumished upon request. 5、ted by it, which contains a pest control chemical conforming to the description set forth in this American National Standard. 3. Limitations Neither the American National Standards Institute nor the Accredited Standards Committee for Common Names for Pest Control Chemicals, K62, guarantees or assume
6、s any responsibility that use of this name in connection with this or any other chemical or product will not infringe on or conflict with any existing proprietary name, trademark, or trade name. Ap- proval as an American National Standard Common Name constitutes recognition by the Institute that a c
7、onsensus exists within Accredited Standards Com- mittee K62, operating under Institute procedures and basing its recommendation on data submitted by a sponsor, favoring consideration of the use of the name to designate the pest control chemical de- scribed herein by all interested persons. The infor
8、ma- tion concerning the chemical and physical properties of the chemical is not a part of the standard but is provided solely as an aid to identification, and its accuracy is not guaranteed. An American National Standard implies a consensus of those substantially concerned with its scope and provisi
9、ons. An American National Standard is intended as a guide to aid the manufacturer, the consumer, and the general public.
