Common Name: daminozide l. 1 The word “daminozide” (pronounced da-m-no- zid) has been accepted as the American National Stan- dard Common Name for the chemical butanedioic acid mono(2,2-dimethylhydrazide). 1.2 Acceptance signifies compliance with American Na- tional Standard Procedure
2、for the Acceptance of an American National Standard Common Name for a Pest Control Chemical, K62.1-1974. 2. Use of Common Name 2.1 The common name applies to the 100% pure chemical. 2.2 Technical grades and formulations shall indicate the percentage of daminozide present; for example, daminozide - 9
3、9% minimum. 2.3 The Sponsor2 of the common name “daminide” Also known as succinic acid mono(2,2-dimethylhydrazide). Name furnished upon request.
