All other test conditions apply. 5.8.3 Procedure Prepare a saturated water solution consisting of 12.0 grams of K2SO4 per 100 grams distilled water (saturation is 12.0 grams per 100 cm 3

18、 at 25C). Pour the saturated K2SO4 solution into the bottom of the test container. The depth of the K2SO4 solution should be approximately 5 mm (approximately 0.2 in) deep. Add an additional 6 grams of K2SO4 solid per 100 grams of the saturated solution. (Some solid K2SO4 will be present in the bott

Mount from up to 16 test cards that possess all desired information and features in the test card holder such that the cards are separated from each other with the card face parallel

Clean the cards and turntable thoroughly, using a dry soft cloth, to remove all debris. Avoid direct finger contact with the

26、 test cards and abrasion wheels. Mount the two test cards side by side on the turntable without any compliant pad so that the abrasive wheels pass over the desired areas. The abrasive wheels must not bounce during the test. Place the abrasive wheels on the test card and the vacuum nozzle 6,4 mm (0.2

Stop the test after the specified number of cycles or until wear through of the card feature is observed. The test may be stopped after 5,000 cycles have occurred without wear through.
