2、mon Name: “clofentezine” 1.1 The word “clofentezine” (pronounced kl-fen- ta ,zin) has been accepted as the American National Standard Common Name for the chemical 3,6-bis(2- chloropheny1)- 1,2,4,5 -t etrazine. 1.2 Acceptance signifies compliance with American (D Co m O m (o Y c; x - v) z a National

3、Standard Common Name for a Pest Control Chemical - Procedure for Acceptance, ANSI K62.1- 1985. 2 . Use of Common Name 2.1 The common name applies to the 100% pure chemical. 2.2 Technical grades and formulations shall indicate the percentage of clofentezine present; for example, clofentezine - approx

4、imately 95%. 2.3 The sponsor2 of the common name “clofentezine” has agreed to release and permit the use of the name “clofentezine” with respect to any product, whether or not manufactured or formulated by it, which con- tains a pest control chemical conforming to the de- scription set forth in this

5、 American National Standard. 3. Limitations Neither the American National Standards Institute nor the Accredited Standards Committee for Common Names for Pest Control Chemicals, K62, guarantees or assumes any responsibility that use of this name in con- nection with this or any other chemical or pro

6、duct will not infringe on or conflict with any existing propri- etary name, trademark, or trade name. Approval as an American National Standard Common Name consti- tutes recognition by the Institute that a consensus ex- ists within Accredited Standards Committee K62, oper- Also known as 3,6-bis (o-c
