2、4.20(A), 1.5.2, 1.5.5, 1.5.8, 1.7(A), 2.5, 3.5, 4.4, 5.3 and 6.4. Published on 4 December 2001. Page 6 Clause 1.4.19 Title Delete Sink and replace with Drainer or bowl. Page 6 New Clause 1.4.19(A) Add New Clause as follows: (a)Soap recess A profiled area designed to retain soap. A soap recess may be

3、 fluted, dimpled to aid drying of the soap. Page 6 New Clause 1.4.20(A) Add New Clause as follows: (a)Tap landing An area near a bowl designed to support a tap, tap-set or other fitting. Page 6 Clause 1.5.2 Delete existing text and replace with the following: The main bowl of the sink shall be not l

4、ess than 125 mm deep. Auxiliary bowls and drainers may be provided integral with or for mounting alongside sinks complying with all the specified design features of Section1. Auxiliary bowls shall have a depth not less than 30 mm. Drainers may be of any depths and may be fluted, dimpled or plain. Ov

5、erflow outlets shall not be provided. The finished product shall be free of sharp edges. 6、ollowing: The drainer and the bottom of the sink shall have a continuous fall to a waste outlet. Soap recesses, tap landings and rims of sinks shall be self-draining. Drainers shall be designed so as to have a positive fall towards the bowl or an unpluggable waste outlet. Drainers may be fluted, dim

7、pled or plain. Page 7 Clause 1.5.8 First line 1Add after holes, and tap landings. 2Add a new sentence as follows: The location shall be such as to allow the tap to discharge into a bowl of not less than 125 mm. 8、 of all materials shall be supplied with a label giving detailed information on the prevention of damage and maintenance of the surface of the sink. The label shall be firmly attached to the sink in a position so that it is easily readable after installation and shall include the following wording,

9、in English, and in capital letters not less than 2 mm high. The label shall be written NOTICE PLEASE LEAVE THIS LABEL IN A POSITION FOR THE HOUSEHOLDER TO READ. _ CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS 1TO PRESERVE ITS POLISHED SURFACE, THIS SINK SHOULD BE CLEANED WITH A SOFT CLOTH USING WARM SOAPY W

10、ATER OR HOUSEHOLD DETERGENT. 2IF ACCIDENTAL SCRATCHES, ABRASIONS OR BURNS OCCUR, THE SURFACE FINISH CAN BE RESTORED BY GENTLE POLISHING WITH A POLISH RECOMMENDED BY THE MANUFACTURER. 45、 protrusion, corner or point which has the potential to cause injury to the handler or end user. 1.4.19 Drainer or bowl A shallow bowl or tray used for the draining of liquid from crockery, cutlery or food, not intended as a reservoir for water or drained off liquid, and which is provided with unplu

46、ggable waste outlet fittings. 1.4.19(A) Soap recess A profiled area designed to retain soap. A soap recess may be fluted, dimpled to aid drying of the soap. 1.4.20 Specks Particles of foreign matter producing a different colour on a surface. 1.4.20(A) Tap landing An area near a bowl designed to supp

47、ort a tap, tap-set or other fitting. 1.4.21 Tiling flange An upstand on one or more sides of the sink, used for flashing purposes. The upstand may be a separate fixture, such that when fixed to the sink, which provides a watertight seal between the sink and the junction of any vertical surface. 1.5

48、DESIGN 1.5.1 Preferred dimensions Modular dimensions are preferred for length and width. 1.5.2 Sink design The main bowl of the sink shall be not less than 125 mm deep.
