It supersedes PAS

9、 36-1:2000 and PAS 36-2:2000, which are withdrawn. Attention is drawn to BS 8461 which makes recommendations for the procurement, erection, maintenance, storage of goals intended for small-sided football (five-, six-, seven-a side), mini-soccer, futsal and youth football, and for their inspection an

10、d testing in situ. This publication does not purport to include all the necessary provisions of a contract. Users are responsible for its correct application. 12、 Copy, (c) BSI BS 8462:2005 BSI 11 October 2005 1 1 Scope This part of BS 8462 specifies requirements for both socketed and free-standing goals intended for youth football, futsal, mini-soccer and small-sided football (i.e. five-, six- and seven-a-side football). It is applicable to goals used for t

13、raining and competition in indoor arenas and sports halls, and to outdoor sports facilities. It does not apply to eleven-a-side adult (full-size) football goals that fall within the scope of BS EN 748. NOTE A specification for full-size football goals is given in BS EN 748:2004. 2 Normative referenc

16、ms and definitions For the purposes of this British Standard, the following definitions apply. 3.1 youth football eleven- or nine-a-side football played by players in the age range 11 to 16 3.2 small-sided football versions of the football played by less than eleven players, including five-, six- an

17、d seven-a-side football, that are governed by Football Associations Small Sided Football Laws of the Game 3.3 futsal modified version of five-a-side football, governed by FIFAs Futsal Laws of the Game 3.4 mini-soccer simplified version of the small-sided football played by children, as defined in th

27、pport frame On free-standing mini-soccer goals and small-sided football goals, the mass of the back bar shall be equal to or greater than the mass of the crossbar. 4.3 Elbow net supports The dimensions of elbow net supports (if applicable) shall be in accordance with Table 3. NOTE See Annex A for installation recommendations. 4.5 Di

32、agonal supports Where diagonal supports are supplied (see Figure 3), they shall be connected to the goal frame at a minimum height of 1 500 mm and to the support frame at a distance of at least 2 000 mm from the goal frame. 4.6 Net The dimensions of the net shall conform to Table 4. 33、ns of net 5 Materials 5.1 Goal frame The goal frame, net supports or support frame, and ground sockets or ground fixings shall be made of metal or of rigid plastics tube that incorporate a U.V. stabilizer. Components for fixing the net to the goal shall be made of metal, plastics or cord. NOTE This

34、British Standard does not specify any requirement in respect of materials to be used for goal nets. Nets made of synthetic or natural fibres are equally acceptable. 5.2 Net pegs Pegs for fixing the net to the ground shall be made of either non-corrodible metal or rigid plastics that incorporate a U.

35、V. stabilizer. 6 Construction 6.1 Framework and net supports The cross-section of the uprights and crossbar shall be identical and shall be either square, circular, oval or elliptical. On goals for youth football, the frame shall be no larger than 120 mm 120 mm. On goals for futsal the frame shall b

36、e (80 1) mm (80 1) mm in cross-section. All corners and edges shall have a radius of at least 3 mm (see Figure 6). Screw threads that protrude more t

39、han 8 mm shall be permanently covered (for example, with dome-headed nuts). Nuts and bolt heads that protrude less than 8 mm should be free from all burrs. All welds shall have rounded edges. Folding goals shall incorporate a mechanism that prevents movement of the side bars when the goal is erected

40、. 6.2 Net fixings The net shall be attached firmly to the frame of the goal. There shall be no gaps large enough to allow a ball to pass under or around the net in either direction. Net fixings shall be designed so that any external openings (i.e. on the circumference of the cross-section of the upr

41、ights and the crossbar) are less than 8 mm or greater than 25 mm. The spacing between net attachments shall be no more than 400 mm. Neither spring hooks nor metal cup hooks shall be used as a means of fixing the net to the goal frame. NOTE In practice, the method used to attach the net should also a

42、llow it to be removed reasonably easily and quickly. 6.3 Ground sockets Each ground socket shall be supplied with a tightly fitting metal, rubber or plastic cap or drop-in lid. NOTE The cap or lid is for plugging the socket when it is not in use. 6.4 Finish All steel components shall be protected ag

43、ainst corrosion by hot-galvanizing, electroplating, powder-coating or painting. 6.5 Strength 6.5.1 Crossbar 6.5.1.1 Youth football goals and futsal goals When tested in accordance with B.3.1, the crossbar shall not fracture or collapse nor show permanent deformation greater than 10 mm. 6.5.1.2 Mini-

44、soccer and small-sided football goals, the total mass of which is equal to or greater than 18.0 kg When tested in accordance with B.3.2, the crossbar shall not fracture or collapse, nor show deformation greater than 10 mm. 6.5.1.3 Mini-soccer and small-sided football goals, the total mass of which i

45、s less than 18.0 kg When tested in accordance with B.3.3, the goal frame shall not fracture or collapse and no frame component shall become detached. 47、nd futsal goals When tested in accordance with B.4.1, the goal shall not tip over. 6.7.2 Mini-soccer and small-sided football goals, the total mass of which is equal to or greater than 18.0 kg When tested in accordance with B.4.2, the goal shall not tip over. 6.7.3 Mini- soccer and small-sided footb

48、all goals, the total mass of which is less than 18.0 kg When tested in accordance with B.4.3, the goal shall not tip over. 6.8 Frame entrapment Any possible points of entrapment in the frame higher than 1 200 mm above the ground (e.g. net supports), shall have no downward angles of less than 60 and

49、no openings of less than 230 mm diameter. 7 Instructions for the users The manufacturer shall provide written instructions for assembly, installation, use, storage and maintenance. These instructions shall be supplied with the goal. For socketed goals, detailed instructions for the installation of the ground sockets shall be included. NOTE Figure A.1 is an example of gr
