18、rs. It prescribes the test schedule, giving the specific conditions of test as required by Sections 1 and 2. This section applies to the tantalum electrolytic capacitors listed below, for use in equipment for telecommunication and in electronic devices employing similar techniques: 1) Plain fo

22、il, liquid electrolyte. 2) Etched foil, liquid electrolyte. 3) Sintered anode, liquid electrolyte. 4) Sintered anode, solid electrolyte. 3.1.2 Related documents. See 1.1.2. 3.1.3 Terminology. 24、st records shall be prepared in accordance with 1.1.11. 2) Attributes information shall be given for the following Sub-groups: A1, A2, A3, A4, B1, B2, C1, C3, C4, C5, D1, D2, D3, D4 and D6. 3) Measurements information shall be given for capacitance, tangent of the loss angle and leakage current afte

25、r Sub-groups C5, D1 and D2. The information shall be presented in group frequency tables showing: a) the change resulting from the test in the case of capacitance, b) the distribution prior to the test and after the test in the case of tangent of the loss angle and leakage current. 3.1.12 Standard r

In addition to the standard ratings and characteristics covered by 1.1.12 the detail specification should give information of special characteristics, for example: 1) L.F. impedance (foil types). 2) H.F. impedance (solid types). 3) Surge voltage. 4) Reverse voltage. 5) Ri

30、equency of measurement: 100 Hz or 120 Hz (where a frequency is used other than that for which limits are given, the limits shall be corrected accordingly). 2) Applied voltage: 0.1 V to 1.0 V peak a.c. 3) D.C. polarizing voltage: 2.1 V to 2.5 V except for bi-polar capacitors, which shall be measured

31、without a polarizing voltage unless otherwise prescribed in the detail specification. 3.2.4.4 Tangent of the loss angle. See 1.2.4.4. For conditions of measurement see 3.2.4.3. 3.2.4.5 Leakage current. See 1.2.4.5. A 1 000 7 minimum protective resistor shall be placed in series with the capacitor to

32、 limit the charging current. 3.2.4.6 Impedance. See 1.2.4.6. Applicable to the following types with a capacitance value W 0.68 4F (a) porous anode solid electrolyte types (Sub-group A4), (b) liquid electrolyte porous anode types (Sub-group C4). 1) Voltage. If the peak a.c. voltage exceeds 0.5 V on p

33、olar types a direct polarizing voltage of 2.5 V max. shall be applied. The application of voltage shall be such as not to cause any readable change in impedance due to the change in temperature of the capacitor. 2) Frequency a) 100 kHz in Sub-group A4. b) 100 kHz in Sub-group C4. 3) Temperature a) S

40、l test procedures 3.2.6.1 Robustness of terminations. See 1.2.6.1. 3.2.6.2 Soldering. See 1.2.6.2. 1) Solderability. Method 3, Solder globule. Period of recovery, not less than 1 h and not more than 2 h. The terminations shall not be degreased. Non-activated flux shall be used. The test shall be app

41、lied at any point on the terminations. 2) Resistance to soldering heat. Method 1, Solder bath 350 C. Period of recovery: not less than 1 h and not more than 2 h. 3.2.6.3 Rapid change of temperature. During the last half hour of vibration in each direction an electrical measurement shall be made to determine intermittent faults. Detection equipment shall be sufficiently sensitive to detect any
