6、t of BS AU 50, prepared under the direction of the Automobile Standards Committee, is identical with ISO 4570-3:1980 “Tyre valve threads Part 3: Threads 8V2, 10V1, 11V1, 13V2, 15V1, 16V1, 17V1, 17V2, 17V3, 19V1, 20V1” published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). Sections 1,
7、 2 and 3 of this Part deal with valve dimensions. Other Parts of the standard are: Part 1: Tyres; Part 2: Wheels and rims. ISO 4570-3:1980 (E)/Erratum was implemented as Amendment No. 1 to this standard. Terminology and conventions. The text of the International Standard has been approved as suitabl
8、e for publication, without deviation, as a British Standard. Some terminology and certain conventions are not identical with those used in British Standards; attention is especially drawn to the following. Where the words “International Standard” appear, referring to this standard, they should be re
9、ad as “British Standard”. The comma has been used throughout as a decimal marker. In British Standards it is current practice to use a full point on the baseline as the decimal marker. The corresponding British Standard for ANSI Standard B1.2 is BS 919 “Screw gauge limits and tolerances” Part 4:1964
10、 “Limits of size for gauges for screw threads of Unified form, diameters ! in and larger”. It is technically equivalent to the ANSI Standard. The minimum and maximum values have been calculated to make it possible to apply the limit gauge inspection princi
17、ples specified in ISO 1502 to the threads 10V1, 15V1, 17V1 and 20V1.
