23、 wrought aluminium alloy. EXAMPLEProduction scrap of sheet, strip, tubes, extruded or drawn profiles, ends of extrusion ingots etc. It does not apply to turnings which are covered by EN 13920-12. 2 Normative references This European Standard incorporates by dated or undated reference, provisions fro

EN 13920-1:2003, Aluminium and aluminium alloys Scrap Part 1: General requirements, sampling and tests. 3 Terms and definitions For the purposes of this European Standard, the terms and definitions given in prEN 12258-3:2000 and EN 13920-1:2003 apply. 4 Ordering informa
27、tion The ordering information shall include: the number of this European Standard (EN 13920-4); the scrap category (scrap consisting of one single wrought alloy) and indication of the aluminium alloy; the gross mass of the consignment; the definition of the beginning and end of the period during whi
28、ch the scrap shall be delivered; any characteristics deviating from those specified under 5.1, e.g. thickness of pieces, presence of coatings or foreign material. The ordering information should include: information about the origin of the scrap; any information about size and surface condition of t
29、he pieces, whenever meaningful. If the scrap does not meet all these requirements, e.g. if it contains coated or anodized scrap or contains foil/thin strip which may be clean, coated, anodised or laminated with plastics and/or paper, the supplier shall notify the deviating characteristics to the purchaser and shall obtain his ag
31、reement before shipment. 5.2 Characteristics The scrap shall consist of pieces with a minimum thickness of 0,20 mm. It shall be free from oil, grease, powder, plastics and any other type of foreign material. 5.3 Chemical composition The scrap shall have the chemical composition of a wrought alloy as
32、 specified in EN 573-3 or of another registered alloy if agreed upon between supplier and purchaser. If the scrap does not meet this requirement, it lies outside the scope of this standard. 5.4 Metal yield The metal yield of scrap pertaining to this standard as determined in accordance with EN 13920
33、-1 shall be 95 %. NOTEFor qualities deviating from those specified in 5.2, the metal yield will be correspondingly lower. 6 Classification procedure, treatment of non-conformities and arbitration The classification procedure which includes sampling and tests, the treatment of non-conformities and ar
34、bitration shall be in accordance with EN 13920-1, as appropriate.
