19、rmation after crimping of the contacts used in elements of electrical and optical connection. It shall be used together with EN 2591-100. 2Normative references This European Standard incorporates by dated or undated reference provisions from other publications. 22、ens 3.1The specimens shall be checked as specified in EN 2591-102 and prepared as specified: 50 % with cables of the maximum section allowed by contact; 50 % with cables of the minimum section allowed by contact. The contacts shall be crimped with the specified tools. 3.2Unless specified in the tech
23、nical specification, the following details shall be stated: type of cable; minimum and maximum sections of conductors for each contact size; crimping tools; number of specimens; requirements. 4Apparatus It shall consist of a test device which allows contact rotation and does not cause: any additiona

Measure and record excentricity whilst rotating the specimen through 360. 5.2Requirements 5.2.1For a rotation of 360 the contact excentricity shall not exceed the specified value. 5.2.2For a rotation of
26、360 the opening up of the crimp barrel in the crimp area shall not exceed the specified value. 5.2.3No crack shall be visible under three times magnification.
