If rope leads have additional devices, e.g.
23、 horns, they shall not hinder the rope leading nor endanger persons. Examples of rope leads with horns are illustrated in Figure 3 and Figure 4. Limit deviations for dimensions without specific dimensional tolerance of: cast steel or nodular cast iron shall meet the requirements of EN ISO 8062, CT 1

28、erials Rope leads shall be made of a suitable material: if rope leads are made of grey cast iron, they shall have the properties of EN-GJS-400-15 (Material No. EN-JS 1030) according to EN 1563; if rope leads are made of cast steel, they shall have the properties of GS-38 (Material No.1.0420) accordi
29、ng to EN 10293 or ISO 3755. Surfaces in contact with ropes shall not have any grooves or blisters. 7 Des
30、ignation Designation of a rope lead according to Part 4 (4) of this standard, of type A, of nominal size 8, made of cast steel: Rope lead EN 15272-4 A 8 GS Rope leads made of materials other than those indicated in clause 5 shall be clearly designated. 8 Marking The rope lead shall be permanently ma
31、rked on the outside with the following information, see Figures 1 and 2: EN 15272-4; type; nominal size according to Table 1; maximum rope tensile load according to Table 1, in kN; manufacturer or manufacturers mark. 9 Manufacturers certificate The manufacturer declares the conformity of the rope le
