14、ument (EN 232:2003) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 163, “Sanitary Appliances“, the secretariat of which is held by UNI. This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by November 20

15、03, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by November 2003. This document supersedes EN 232:1990. This European Standard applies to baths used for domestic purposes and complements the standards for baths made from different materials, the existing standards on tap ware

16、 and waste fittings (EN 200 and EN 274-1) in terms of their dimensional requirements. Annex A is normative. According to the CEN/CENELEC Internal Regulations, the national standards organizations of the following countries are bound to implement this European Standard: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republ

17、ic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. EN 232:2003 (E) 4 1 Scope This standard specifies requirements for the connecting dimensions of baths, regar

18、dless of the material used for their manufacture. NOTEOnly dimensions are compulsory. The shape of the appliance in the figures is for illustration only; it in no way prejudices the shape of the appliance which is left to the initiative of the manufacturer. 2 Normative references This European Stand
