BS HR 404, Seamless tubes. 1 Inspection and testing procedure This British Standard shall be used in conjunction with the relevant sections of BS

9、 2HR 100 as follows: 2 Manufacture The material shall be manufactured by one of the following processes: 1) air melting; 2) vacuum melting; 3) air melting and vacuum refining; 4) consumable electrode remelting. 3 Chemical composition The alloy shall contain: 4 Condition 4.1 Unless otherwise agreed t

10、he material shall be supplied in the appropriate condition stated below: 4.2 Finished parts shall be supplied in the finally heat treated condition in accordance with 5.2. 5 Heat treatment 5.1 Solution treatment. The material shall be heated uniformly at a temperature of 1 150 10 C for the appropria

11、te time shown below, followed by quenching in water. 5.2 Precipitation treatment. The material shall be heated uniformly at a temperature of 800 10 C for 8 h, followed by cooling in air. 6 Mechanical properties 6.1 Mechanical tests. The mechanical properties obtained from test pieces selected, prepa
