9、nit length, and is the English language version of EN ISO 1127:1996, published by the European Committee for Standardization (CEN). It is identical with ISO 1127:1992, prepared by ISO/TC 5, Ferrous metal pipes and metallic fittings, of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) with th
10、e active participation of the UK. It supersedes certain specifications in BS 3600:1976 which are deleted by amendment. A British Standard does not purport to include all the necessary provisions of a contract. Users of British Standards are responsible for their correct application. Compliance with

18、 1127:1996 2 BSI 11-1998 Foreword The text of the International Standard from Technical Committee ISO/TC 5, Ferrous metal pipes and metallic fittings, of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) has been taken over as an European Standard by Technical Committee ECISS/TC 29, Steel tub
19、es and fittings for steel tubes, the secretariat of which is held by UNI. This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by October 1996, and conflicting standards shall be withdrawn at the latest b
20、y October 1996. According to the CEN/CENELEC Internal Regulations, the national standards organizations of the following countries are bound to implement this European Standard: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Por
21、tugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. EN ISO 1127:1996 BSI 11-19983 1 Scope This International Standard specifies the diameters, thicknesses, tolerances and conventional masses per unit length of stainless steel tubes. 2 Normative reference The following standard contains provisi
22、ons which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this International Standard. At the time of publication, the edition indicated was valid. All standards are subject to revision, and parties to agreements based on this International Standard are encouraged to investigate the possib
23、ility of applying the most recent edition of the standard indicated below. Members of IEC and ISO maintain registers of currently valid International Standards. ISO 5252:1991, Steel tubes Tolerance systems. 3 Dimensions The outside diameters and thicknesses of the tubes specified in this Internation
24、al Standard have been selected from ISO 4200. If thicknesses greater than 14,2 mm are needed, they should be chosen from ISO 4200. 4 Tolerances The tolerances permitted on the outside diameter and thickness of the tubes result from the method of manufacture, the steel types and the heat treatment. T
25、he tolerances shall be selected from the values given in Table 1 and Table 2. 4.1 Tolerances on outside diameter See Table 1. Table 1 Tolerances on outside diameter The tolerances on outside diameter include ovality. 4.2 Tolerances on thickness See Table 2. Table 2 Tolerances on thickness The tolera
26、nces on thickness include eccentricity. 4.3 Other tolerances For tolerances on dimensions other than outside diameter and thickness, reference shall be made to ISO 5252. 5 Conventional masses per unit length The conventional masses per unit length given in Table 3 for austenitic stainless steel tube
27、s are the masses given in ISO 4200 multiplied by a factor of 1,015. This factor assumes an average density for these tubes of 7,97 kg/dm3. The conventional masses per unit length given in Table 4 for ferritic and martensitic stainless steel tubes are the masses given in ISO 4200 multiplied by a fact
28、or of 0,985. This factor assumes an average density for these tubes of 7,73 kg/dm3. Tolerance class Tolerance on outside diameter D1 1,5 % with 0,75 mm min. D2 1 % with 0,5 mm min. D3 0,75 % with 0,3 mm min. D4 0,5 % with 0,1 mm min. Tolerance class Tolerance on thickness T1 15 % with 0,6 mm min. T2
29、 12,5 % with 0,4 mm min. T3 10 % with 0,2 mm min. T4 7,5 % with 0,15 mm min. T5 5 % with 0,1 mm min.
