It is identical with IEC 893-3-2:1993, published by the International Electrotechnical Committee (IEC). EN 60893-3-2 was produced as a result of international discussions in which the
12、United Kingdom took an active part. Types EPGC201, EPGC202, EPGC203 and EPGC204 supersede types EP-3, EP-4, EP-5 and EP-6 in BS 3953. Insofar as technical consi
28、derations permit, this standard repeats (recapitulates) a classification of laminates similar to that of ISO 1642. The series consists of three parts: Part 1: Definitions, designations and general requirements (IEC 893-1); Part 2: Methods of test (IEC 893-2); Part 3: Specifications for individual ma
29、terials (IEC 893-3). This standard contains one of the sheets comprising part 3, as follows: Sheet 2: Requirements for rigid laminated sheets based on epoxide resins. 1 General 1.1 Scope This International Standard gives the requirements for industrial rigid laminated sheets for electrical purposes
30、based on epoxide resins and different reinforcements. Applications and distinguishing properties are given in Table 1. According to part 1: (IEC 893-1), the individual types are designated by a first group of two letters for resin (e.g. EP for epoxide), a second group of two letters for the reinforc
31、ement followed by a serial number of three digits. The abbreviations are given in part 1. 1.2 Normative references The following normative documents contain provisions which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this International Standard.
