The washers are primarily fo
8、r use with B.A. and B.S.F. bolts. 2 Material The washers shall be manufactured from the appropriate material specified in Table 1. 3 Dimensions The washers shall conform to the dimensions specified in Table 2. 4 Finish The washers shall be flat, within a tolerance of 0.005 in., with parallel faces,
9、and free from burrs. All washers manufactured from cold rolled mild steel complying with BS S 5101), shall be cadmium plated in accordance with Ministry of Supply Process Specification D.T.D. 904.1) 5 Identification The washers shall be identified for ordering purposes by the number of the British S
10、tandard together with the appropriate code letter shown in Table 2, e.g. Stainless steel washer for 3/8 in. bolt is SP. 14 J. Table 1 Material 1) Latest issue BSMaterial Thin washers.
