3、 under the authority of the Standards Committee and comes into effect on 15 January 1999 BSI 29 April 2004 ISBN 0 580 30875 8 National foreword This British Standard is the English language version of EN 60947-5-2:1998, including amendments A1:1999 and A2:2004. It was derived by CENELEC from IEC 609

4、47-5-2:1997, including amendments 1:1999 and 2:2003. It supersedes BS EN 60947-5-2:1998 which will be withdrawn on 2001-10-01. The CENELEC common modifications have been implemented at the appropriate places in the text. The start and finish of each common modification is indicated in the text by ta

5、gs . The start and finish of text introduced or altered by amendment is indicated in the text by tags !“. Tags indicating changes to IEC text carry the number of the IEC amendment. For example, text altered by IEC amendment 1 is indicated by !“. The UK participation in its preparation was entrusted

36、able to this standard, where specifically called for. General Rules clauses and subclauses thus applicable, as well as tables, figures and appendices, are identified by references to Part 1, e.g. subclause 7.1.9.3 of Part 1 or Annex C of Part 1. 37、fic requirements for the various types of proximity switches are given in Annex A. 1.1 Scope and object !This part of IEC 60947 applies to inductive and capacitive proximity switches that sense the presence of metallic and/or non-metallic objects, ultrasonic proximity switches that sense the presenc

38、e of sound reflecting objects, photoelectric proximity switches that sense the presence of objects and non-mechanical magnetic proximity switches that sense the presence of objects with a magnetic field.“ These proximity switches are self-contained, have semiconductor switching elements(s) and are i

39、ntended to be connected to circuits, the rated voltage of which does not exceed 250 V 50 Hz/60 Hz a.c. or 300 V d.c. This standard is not intended to cover proximity switches with analogue outputs. The object of this standard is to state for proximity switches: definitions; classification; character
