、07 21:45:42 MDTNo reproduction or networking permitted without license from IHS -,-,- CEA-633.34 1. Introduction. This portion of the conformance standard specifies tests to determine conformance of a Nodes IR Physical Layer to IS-60. Part One of this standard provides an overview of the conformance

、 philosophy. The reader is urged to review that material before attempting to use the details provided in this part. Three subsections under the following Test Specification heading provide Test Cases, Test Steps, and Test Case Dynamic Behavior, respectively. Test Cases are a terse description of ea

、ch test to be run on a Unit Under Test (UUT). Test Steps are the building blocks for Test Cases. Test Case Dynamic Behavior is the formal expansion of each Test Case, written in the form of a series of Test Steps with a Pass or Fail outcome. 2. Test Specification. 2.1. Test Cases. This section provi

、des the test cases for the IR Physical Layer test suite. Test cases are presented in a table format. The first column provides the purpose of the test case. The next two columns provide the test case identifier and cross-reference (section number in IR Physical Layer and Media of IS-60) respectively

、. The last column gives the page number of the test case dynamic behavior (test case expansion). Tests that derive from mandatory Physical Layer requirements are marked with “ “ in the Description column and are to be performed on all UUTs. Tests shall be conducted in an environment such that repeat

、able results can be obtained. It is recommended that the IR test medium be isolated in a blackout room or other suitable location. Date, time, location, and other pertinent information shall be recorded. 1 Copyright Consumer Electronics Association Provided by IHS under license with CEA Licensee=IHS
