9、an series SMB connectors. Series MCX connectors have a characteristic impedance of 50 Q and are normally used for low power applications, in conjunction with flexible coaxial cables having a dielec- tric diameter of 0,86 mm to 1,6 rnm. The connectors are usable up to a frequency of at least 3 GHz, a

10、nd may be used at higher frequencies if a reflection factor greater than 0,15 can be tolerated for straight connectors and 0,24 for right-angle styles. T h i s Issue 2 of CECC 22 220 shall become effective for all new qualification approvals from 1st September 1993. Issue 1 remains valid for existin

Gauge A shall be inserted once only into the female centre contact. This is a sizing operation. Aft

26、er this, gauge B shall be inserted into the female centre contact. The contact shall support the mass of the gauge in a vertical downward attitude. Additional test Following the sizing operation, and if prescribed in the DS, the force necessary to insert gauge A fully into the female centre contact

27、shall be measured. When this test is required, the maximum permitted insertion force shall then be specified and shall not exceed 11 N. 30、CECC 22 000) The sizing gauge A representing maximum material (smallest diameters) is applied once only as in the standard procedure but the force to remove the gauge should also be measured. The maximum force to remove the gauge should be 20 N (2 kg). The retention force gauge BI representing minim

31、um material (largest diameters) is then applied. Mass of the gauge to be 800 g and the gauge to be retained in the vertical downward attitude. Additional test At the conclusion of the tests and if prescribed by the DS, the force necessary to insert gauge A shall be measured. When this additional tes
