SCOPE The materials defined by these specifications are solar tint float glass, M-28G101(V), which have bee
3、n heat treated and which will meet test requirements of the government standards of the country of use. 2. APPLICATION These specifications were released originally for solar tint heat treated sidelites and backlites used in glazing motor vehicles. 3. REQUIREMENTS Material specification requirements
4、 are to be used for initial qualification of materials. 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.2.1 Physical and Optical Requirements The glass must meet a
5、ll requirements of the following standards in the European market. ECE R-43 BS AU 178 StVZO 22a The above standards are equivalent to each other. The glass must meet the requirements of the following standards for the North American market. ANSI Z 26.1 - 1977. ANSI Z 26.1a - 1980 FMVSS 205 - 1984 Co
6、mpliance shall be demonstrated by conformance to a control plan developed by the glass manufacturer and approved by the Body Engineering Vehicle Office. 7、 REQUIREMENTS 3.3.1 See WSB-M99P10-B for general performance requirements, such as manufacturing imperfections, tolerances and certain requirements common to float glass. When a conflict exists between requirements in the material specification and performance specification WSB-M99P10-B, the materia
8、l specification shall govern. 3.4 MATERIAL DESIGNATION Solar tint absorbing glass shall be as specified on engineering drawings. Material for electrically heated construction shall meet the requirements as specified on engineering drawings and WSB-M12P2-B. 3.5 DIMENSIONS 3.5.1 Thickness, mm Nominal

10、re than a total of 0.8 mm for each lineal 305 mm of glass based on the major dimension, e.g., not more than 2.3 mm warp will be allowed in a part 914 mm long. 3.7 TONG KINKS On concealed edges, shall not exceed 0.8 mm within any 51 mm increment of edge length.
