1、 ENGINEERING STANDARDS Material Specification Plastics GMP.PVC.075 PVC, 50 Shore D, Interior, Extrusion Molding Compound 1 Scope This specification covers the properties of a 50 shore D hardness, polyvinyl chloride, pellet form, extrusion-molding compound. 1.1 Material Description. 50 Shore D, Extru

2、sion- Molding Compound, Black. 1.3 Symbol. The material abbreviation according to ISO 11469 is PVC. 1.4 Typical Application. GM9303P GM9503P GM9305P GMW3001 GM9328P GMW3059 GM9329P 3 Requirements 3.1 Requirements on Delivery. 3.1.1Requirements On Test Specimens. Tests shall be conducted using the latest issue of the test methods

4、indicated. Suitable precautions should be taken to ensure that applicable safe limits are not exceeded when conducting test procedures, processes, and/or handling the materials required by this specification. Tests shall be conducted 40 h minimum after molding and immediately following a conditionin

5、g period of 24 hours minimum at 22 3C and 50 5% RH unless otherwise specified. All tests shall be performed on unannealed specimens. In addition, tests specified at temperatures below or above 22 3C shall be conducted at the specified temperature using specimens conditioned at the specified temperat

6、ure for 4 hours minimum. Test specimens shall be 3.2 0.2 mm thick unless otherwise specified. Property values are the average of an equal number of specimens cut from both the longitudinal and transverse plaque directions. The minimum values specified in the property tables must be met by test speci

7、mens in natural, black, or in a standard sampled color if natural or black are not available. For colored grades where other pigment and additive systems (e.g. stabilizer) are used, the impact values shall not decrease more than 10 % from the specified minimum value. 3.1.2 Chemical Requirements. All

8、 parts manufactured from molding compounds shall be resistant to the media they contact, such as aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons, fuels, lubricants, oils, greases and alcohols, at their places of use. 18、able Substances for Parts. 6 Approved Sources Engineering qualification of an approved source is required for this specification. Only sources listed in the GM Materials File (i.e., MATSPC) under this specification number have been qualified by engineering as meeting the requirements of this specifi
