2、he properties of.a glass reinforced, heat stabilized partially aromatic polyamide with polyamide 66. 1.1 Symbol. The material abbreviation according to ISO 11469 is: PA66-50GF 1.2 Typical Application. Typical applications include the following: Mirror Brackets. 2 References Note: Only the latest app

4、irements 3.1 Requirements on Delivery. Important physical, mechanical and thermal properties that characterize the material are summarized in charts. The color shall be specified on drawings, in material specifications and otherwise. 3.2 Requirements on Test Specimens Unless otherwise specified, inj

5、ection molding of test specimens shall be accomplished per ISO 294 with the conditions for injection molding from ISO 1872-2. Also, unless otherwise specified, test methods and specimen dimensions are to be in accordance with GMW3013 (mainly per ISO 10350-1). All values indicated herein are based on

6、 material considered to be in the dry-as-molded state with moisture content of 0.2% maximum (ISO 15512, Method A or ASTM D789 or equivalent). Immediately after molding, specimens shall be sealed in moisture-proof containers and stored at 22 3C for at least 24 h prior to test as specified in ISO 1874

7、-2. All tests shall be performed on unannealed specimens immediately after their removal from the containers in a controlled atmosphere of 22 3C and 50 5% RH unless otherwise specified. In addition, tests specified at temperatures below or above 22 3C shall be conducted at the specified temperature

8、using specimens conditioned at the specified temperature for 4 h minimum. 3.3 Requirements on Parts. The requirements listed in GMW3013 shall be fulfilled. 3.4 Mechanical Requirements. See Table 1. 3.5 Physical Requirements. See Table 2. 4 Manufacturing Process Not applicable 5 Rules and Regulations

9、 5.1 All materials supplied to this specification must comply with the requirements of GMW3001, Rules and Regulations for Material Specifications. 5.2 All materials supplied to this specification must comply with the requirements of GMW3059, Restricted and Reportable Substances for Parts. 6 Approved

10、 Sources Engineering qualification of an approved source is required for this specification. Only sources listed in the GM Materials File (i.e., MATSPC) under this specification number have been qualified by engineering as meeting the requirements of this specification.
