CONTROL DIVIIION: FISHER BODY GENBRAL DESCPTION This specification covers the physical requirements of a high and low temperature, water spray resistant grease; the grease shall be neutral with both uniformly dispersed short
2、 fibers and zinc oxide fillers. The grease ehall be employed in the lubrication of automotive hardware mechanism that are subjected t o possible high temperatures and excessive water spray and/or water flow exposures a8 encountered in automatic body preparationa and paint application currently used
3、i n production. The grease shall be compatible with 998 0793, remain in solutioa when diluted with the solvent and have no adverse changes when the solvent is evaporated. General - The grease muet be of uniform texture and consistency; it p u t not be perfumed and it m u s t not become rancid or eho
4、w component separation for a minimum of 6 months. The grease m u s t not be toxic or injurious t o personnel engaged i n i t 6 handling or use and it m u s t not be harmful t o automobile finishes. A. Physical Properties The physical properties of the grease are of prime importance and must meet the

Inspection, Packing and Shipping Details of these and other requirements are contained on the back of the Purchase O

New Sources No shipment shall be made by new sources until samples of the material they propose to supply under this specification have been approved by the purchaser. The size and number of samples to be submitted by the supplier shall be at the option of the purchaser.
